10 things you didn't need to know about me but I'm going to tell you anyway!

Okay so this is just telling my amazing old pals & my new pals about me, there just 10 really silly things that you don't need to know but I feel like telling you anyway!

  1. When I started to diet, I actually had no idea of the concept of nutrition I had never been taught an thought two pies on a plate was healthy LOL!! An the only reason I got in to exercise was because of this wedding coming up on the 9th November this year and I just got addicted I can't tell you that feeling when I lift something heavy or break yet another barrier I never thought I could. Its like getting high and horny all at the same time!! I love it!!

  2. I've always been really good a blowing stuff, I'm really good at my Clarinet and am teaching the kids to play the recorder. The man of the house can play anything with strings, he was lead guitarist in a rock band when I met him, studying computer science at uni. My house is filled with music I think its so important!!

  3. I have an irrational fear of slugs, all steams from the day I brought my son home I couldn't manage the stares so slept down-stares and when I woke up to breast feed there where 3 of the giant things getting nasty on my carpet. An they had crawled everywhere but in the Moses basket, there was even slim on my blanket. Ever since then I can't stand to be near them

  4. My favourite exercise is chest & back, Flys for my chest and Cable rows for my back, its odd but I think what I most love about the is the way my muscles engage just under the skin an that feel of them working it always amazes me and I feel so good!

  5. Exercise I'm least good at is Chin-ups and lunges but its like Mario Puzo says (writer of the Godfather) 'keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” These two enemies are always on my workout routines because one day I am going to rip them to pieces an own there sorry arse's FACT!!

  6. If I had gotten my way I probably wouldn't be celebrating my wedding anniversary tomo. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with my daughter, I was on the pill an been told when I was 18 that I couldn't have children so it was a very scary surprise in itself!! I had just finished university, which considering I moved out when I was 16 had taken me ages to put myself through, and I was working over 40 hours a week to organise my own wedding on top of that just seemed to much. But my now husband played me at a game of cards and well a full house beat my pairs an we ended up getting married on the 13th which was closet date I could arrange when I called the next day to book it. 

  7. I am only really happy when I'm using my hands, I'm not academic and I get distracted easily especially if its with something shiny. But when I engage with my hands I can focus and become deeply involved. I guess the reason I went in to catering & love lifting because it is a whole body motion that some times starts with my hands! I am a very hands on person =)

  8. I have never forgotten what it was like to be horribly obese and struggle to get up a flight or stares or wondering if I was going to make my 40th!!

  9. My favourite treat to myself is a home manicure an I buy beautiful nail polishes an I'm happy to sit there after the kids are in bed an I've beaten myself black and blue to treat myself to doing my nails. Even if its some times really hard to paint them because I'm so sore!! LOL! I also have a real fetish for dressing up an going out looking like a 1950's pin-up girl!

  10. I never give up! EVER! I first started to run, couldn't manage 30 seconds before I thought I was going to die, this year I did the 5k in 32 mins, I was at a heavy weight of 277lbs I fought kicking and screaming to get down to what I am now of 170lbs, I could barely complete my sets with an embarrassing low weight, didn't stop me just worked/working my way up the numbers...still barely struggling to complete my sets but that because I love to challenge myself!! I never find making my body work hard a chore to me it is something beautiful, because there was a time I could only do so little that every day and every new challenge is some thing pretty amazing!! still if were being honest lifting something heavy excites me, running in the cold just gives me an impending sense of worry for my extremities but I still get up in the morning an get to it!


    No excuses, no judgement, just life!!
