Journal Entry 2/9/13

Heyyyyyyy everabooooodaaay!

Happy snowed-in Saturday!

So this morning I looked outside and HOOOOLYYYY CRAP there was SNOW. Like CRAZY SNOW. Like 2 to 3 feet of it. So I got all bundled up and went out and I borrowed a shovel from a neighbor and shoveled out my car.

And lemme tell ya, I was able to shovel so much snow. A few years ago I wouldn't have been able to do even half of what I accomplished today. I was amazed with how much endurance I had. I was able to get my car completely cleared out. Lots of lifting and hurling snow. It was a good strength training day. :D

I tried to build a snowman but the snow was too fluffy so I'll have to try again tomorrow.

It's been a long day and I got a lot done and I'm WICKED tired. MUAH! nitenite everyone!

YES! Congrats! And productive at that. We only got 6-8 inches here though. And the roads were cleared by afternoon. My hubby won't let me do the shoveling because of a bad back though!

Great job shoveling out! The cars were buried today! trees down on roads - Christy Hill not passable. No church tomorrow but hope you enjoy the weekend!

Sounds like you had a really great day! And a great workout as well. We never get snow like that down here in Texas. And if we did I probably would get real tired of it real quick...but since we never have it I can dream about how fun it would be. :)

It's good to hear you had a relatively good day considering you got snowed in and made what most would fret over into something positive. It's wonderful that you have gained more endurance and strength over the years. Making a snowman would be a lot of fun! I hope and pray that you continue reaching all the goals you're striving for.

I live in Texas so we don't hardly ever get snow and when we do it's never that much. I was in ohio last month and got the chance to see a lot of snow.

My inner child came out and I was kicking it in the air, throwing it around, knocking off icicles with my foot that were hanging from my car--I even got the urge to slide down a little hill on my belly like a penguin. lol

I love how at night it looks like someone sprinkled glitter all over the ground with how sparkly the snow looks. <3 BUT! as fun as it was I am glad we don't have those kinds of winters. Way Toooooooo Cold for this Texan. XD
