About Me
I am retired from John Deere and have two grown married daughters and 8grandchildren.....which I don't get to see very often. Moved to the country 11yrs ago from the Quad Cities a larger city.
Why I Want To Get In Shape
My doctor gave me a rude awakening....He said , loose the weight and quit smoking if I wanted to live to be an old woman. I have high blood pressure, diabetic, degenerative disc disease, and now problems with my kidneys, which can lead to a heart attack. My neighbor and friend is only 10 years older then me, and she is a diabetic and did smoke cigerettes. This past year she has had hear failure, two heart operations,she has had to have a leg ambutated, and now has no kidneys. She has to be on dialoses 3 times a week. They can't operate on her any more because it would be diffinate death. [IN LOVING MEMORY OF PAT JONES 1939-2008]
My Inspirations
- I am afraid of the consiquinces if I don't get all this weight off.
- I believe my prayers have led me to this sight
- Seeing my great grandchildren some day.
- What time I have left to be healthy again.
