About Me
I'm 25 years old and came to the conclusion that I had been on a diet for over 10 years!! Finally I decided enough was enough. The yo yo dieting had to stop when I reached my peak weight of 240lbs about 2 or 3 years ago. Since then I have dedicated myself to eating healthy and getting regular exercise. I’ve been able to get down to 180lbs and I’m hoping to one day be 140lbs. Still there has been times that I have “fallen off the wagon” but I remind myself that each day is a new start. I always say food is the worst addiction because it’s not something that you can just live without!
I heard on Oprah one day that the scale is your worst enemy, and it defanitly is. You weigh yourself...you loose weight and think ooo now i can cheat, or you weigh yourself and gain and think oh well and give up. I havn't weighed myself in almost 3 months and it has actually helped me to stay with exercising and eating healthy.
For everyone who does get on the scale...even if you lose one pound be proud of yourself! Think of it as a pound of butter...4 sticks of butter GONE!
Why I Want To Get In Shape
My number one reason is to just be healthy!
My Inspirations
- Being able to go clothes shopping and getting stylish clothes.
- Feeling better about myself.
- Being able to look in the mirror and not pick myself apart.
- Being comfortable in my own skin.

Hey Angie! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I have been ssooo sick. I'm feelin better now. How are you?
I'm doing really good. Got things back under control :o) I weighed in today and lost 3 more lbs. So it's comin off slowly lol.
