About Me

I am the mother of 2 children who are 16 months apart. I have a boy who is 6 and a girl who is 5. I was in the best shape of my life when I met my husband. However, that was 11 years ago. I then took a job where I was sitting at a computer all day (Administrative Assistant) and snacks were provided by the company. Then when I got pregnant with my first child, I gained even more weight. I don't think I'll ever get back to my pre-marriage weight of 115 lbs, but I am trying to get down to 125. My biggest problem is snacking (or "snacks" that end up more like meals) and cravings. I also don't seem to have much time for exercising, but I am trying to get out and walk every day now. I tried Weight Watchers 3 times before with some success. I just found it hard to make it to meetings each week, and then when I missed a meeting, I ended up eating more "points" than I should have. So then I ended up giving up, and I gained the weight back. I would love to hear how others are working through similar challenges.

Why I Want To Get In Shape

I want to be healthier, and I want to be happy with what I see in the mirror.
