About Me
I am 29 and live with my boyfriend and our (my) cat Zoey. I work at a brokerage firm so aside from the occasional trip to the printer, I spend a pretty inactive 8 hours each day, which isn't helping with the weight loss goal much. In the spring and fall I like to take walks, but my main exercise is either bike riding, or using my bike trainer to ride indoors in the winter.
First goal: Lose 20 pounds before my friends wedding October 4, 2008 GOAL MET :)
Second goal: Lose another 12 by christmas. STATUS: It's currently looking more like 6, but the holidays are hard, right? ;)
Third Goal: Lose another 20 pounds by my 30th birthday on May 3.
At that point I may be very close to my goal weight of 150 pounds. That may change after I see my doctor. I want to know what I weighed my senior year of high school and shoot for that goal since I feel I looked good and it was a healthy weight. So I'll have my doctor look it up and find out what my weight was then.
Why I Want To Get In Shape
Short term I want to look better and see results to keep me motivated to go further. Long term, I want to be healthy, happy and comfortable with my body. Since meeting my boyfriend, we have both gotten a little lazy and too comfortable with each other, so I would like to get back on track to a size I am happy with. I would also like to look fabulous in a wedding dress if I get married in a few years.
