I am the mom of a gorgeous, sweet, perfect little boy. I have been married 5 years and live in the suburbs of NYC (In CT). I currently work part-time.
Why I Want To Get In Shape
I have battled my weight on and off pretty much since I hit puberty. I have lost weight in the past but did it the unhealthy way. I would either starve myself or take diet pills, etc...and basically rush the process and expect miracles. I have FINALLY learned that to take the weight off and keep it off, it has to be done slow and healthy. I have to eat healthy foods and keep my portions under control and exercise. I now look at food as a fuel for my body rather than something to comfort myself with.
My Inspirations
- Being healthy for my son
- Feeling good about myself so I can do more fun things with my family
- Start my next pregnancy out with a healthier body
- Treat myself and my body with the respect I deserve!

Truly - you are looking great! I recently read that when you plateau, your organs are adjusting to the new weight,and if you maintain at that weight for a while, you can later "shock" the system again and start losing by implementing a new workout / diet program. You could just stay right where you are though! You've done sooooo great!
