About Me

I'm a retired nurses aid. I am married to my hubby for 35 years this Dec. We have a blended family...mine(2), his(3) and ours(1). We have 8 grandaughters, 3 stepgrandchildren and 1 great grandaughter. We live in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada. We snowbird in Arizona for 5 1/2 months every winter.
This year we couldn't go because my hubby was diagnosed with throat cancer.

Why I Want To Get In Shape

I am heavier than I have ever been (I need to lose at least 100 lbs) I am really afraid for my health. I hate looking at myself in the mirror. I have gained 30 lbs since last summer, emotional eating, because my hubby was diagnosed with throat cancer.
