About Me
I'm 28 and am married to a great guy (Jamie) and we have two kids together. Kaleigh 5 and Colby 2. I used to weigh 125 and on a 5'8 frame (for me!) it was far too skinny.
I gained a lot with my first baby (40 lbs) and stayed right around 165 for a few years until I got pregnant with Colby, where I gained another 22 lbs.
I lost the weight from him, but over the past few years there has been a lot of stress in our lives (life changes, death in the family, etc) and I've eaten when bored or stressed. I ended up gaining weight back and now I am ready for a change!
Why I Want To Get In Shape
I want to get in shape so that I can feel better about myself, feel healthier, have more fun with the kids and have more energy, and to look GOOD in my clothes!
I want to try and do this the healthy way because once before (when I was younger) I got really obsessed with it and was on the verge of anorexia. I pulled myself out of it after a lot of urging from family, and was at a healthy weight until I had my kids.
My Inspirations
- God. I want to live my best life for him.
- Biggest loser! The people on there are inspirational! =o)
- My friend, she lost 50!
- And MYSELF of course!!
