In 2012 I went into a holding pattern with my weight loss. That would have been fine but during the later part I gained about 55 lbs back. Luckily, I have gotten back on track and have been losing again.

I'm married with 3 children with one still at home. We are unschoolers. I'm a published business writer and currently working on my first novel.
I'm kicking fibromyalgia's arse more than it's kicking mine. Right now I'm on oxygen 24/7 from a recent bout with pneumonia. I enjoy jazz, yoga and comedy movies.
As a child and teen I was very active but I have been overweight my entire adult life. I just want to get healthy and active again!

Why I want to get in shape
My husband was diagnosed with diabetes in March 2011 and instead of going on medication he wanted to make dietary changes and lose weight. Also, in March I was hospitalized with pneumonia and have been on oxygen full time. I know the extra weight isn't helping. I have needed to lose weight for ages so we are in this together now.
We want to do this so we can enjoy life!
Things I haven't done or stopped doing because of the weight:
• Roller Skating
• Horseback Riding
• Buying clothing I like
• Rock climbing
• Wearing skirts again
• Looking good in a sundress
• Being thinner than my husband for the first time
