About Me
I've reached my first goal thanks to MFP!!!
My profile pic was taken in July, and it felt soooo good to wear a swimsuit again!
Now I'm just working on living life, maintaining my weight, and trying not to obsess too much.
Losing the weight on MFP was easy thanks to all the support and LOGGING MY CALORIES for everything that went into my mouth!
Why I Want To Get In Shape
MFP is AMAZING - especially the support! Thanks to all my MFP friends!
My Inspirations
- Keeping up with my kids...
- Being able to buy any clothing that I want...
- Being able to go to the beach and not hide and cover up!

Yeah, just do what makes you happy and feel good. That's the important thing.
I have 13 lbs to my initial goal. I have been on my first real plateau and stuck at the same weight for 2 weeks! Oh well! I am keeping my cool! haha!
I will just see. I am trying to strength-train and tone a little more and see how I feel when I reach my goal weight. I get told by people that I don't need to lose more, etc. I will just see how I feel. I may decide to go a few lbs lower or I may not.
You know, I was reading an article in a magazine a few months ago about finding your "happy weight". It really made me start thinking differently about my desired goals. I mean, the weight our bodies are happy with and comfortable at might not be exactly what "society" expects....but if you are content with who you are and feel strong and healthy..then just enjoy! LOL! At this point......the few lbs you want to lose are just a number......and turn into a number on your dress size.
And I think you look great!!!!! You are hot woman!! ;)
Wow! Well, good luck getting "shredded!!" lol! It has to be rough going back to lower calories once you are maintaining! Yikes!
Thanks...for both nominating me for Oprah and my photo!! That was taken yesterday at my son's 2nd birthday party. He's actually 2 today! :( Time sure does fly!!!!!
